At Sallyport, cultivating strong relationships is what we do. We develop deep partnerships with our investors and portfolio companies, working together to establish a clear strategic direction for each business.
Strategy
"The Sallyport team introduced us to some of our very first customers which were instrumental in championing Workrise's suite of products to the rest of the market. We hit the sales velocity we needed to dictate a premium valuation in later financing rounds because of the key relationships Sallyport brought to the table."
—Xuan Yong, CEO of Workrise
Sallyport is a very patient and selective firm. We have reviewed thousands of deals since inception. Insights from our proprietary deal flow help inform our investment decisions and long-term strategy. Once Sallyport identifies an attractive opportunity we begin our rigorous diligence process to validate or disprove our thesis.
After capital is deployed, we leverage our expansive network and in-house operational expertise to best support and advise our portfolio companies. This support can include everything from executive coaching and recruitment to building sales processes and analysis. We consider ourselves active investors and endeavor to make a positive impact on all of the businesses we partner with.
Strike Zone:
Flexibility and creativity are core to Sallyport’s DNA. We are highly opportunistic in our investment approach and believe the first person to see a great deal will do it.
